At FSudolArt, you'll see lots of illustrations I've created over the past number of years. I consider myself a cartoonist first, then an illustrator second. Cartooning is way more fun than having to match the standards of what things are "supposed" to look like in real life. Of course, that's just my opinion, since there's a ton of great artists out there who feel the opposite way.

Wanna Learn how to Draw Cartoons? So you're drawing basic stuff, but it still feels flat? The next step, is to learn how to angle your character so they're not always facing front. Maybe you can make one eye smaller than the other. The smaller eye is farther back from the one in the foreground. This is getting some perspective in your drawings. Next, work on the other parts. Soon, your drawings will feel like they're not so flat anymore... But keep perspective in mind. Angle things if you have to... -FSudol |
